| Moved around the past 25 years and missed the 20th reunion notices. It looks like the class had a fine time celebrating and I can't wait to be at the next reunion. My wife had her 20th reunion this past weekend, and it just makes me want to see some old classmates even more. |

Attention Highland School Alumni
Kris Kliebhan (Morris) and I wanted to let everyone know that Mrs. Verna Haines (4th grade teacher and a school favorite among students) passed away on January 5, 2009 from pneumonia complications. She was 90 years old. She had moved from her home in Rockford to Phoenix 2 years ago to be near her only son, Tom. Amazingly, she could still could recite all of the poetry she made us all memorize so many years ago. If you would like more information or would like to send condolences to her son, please contact Tina at millerflock@comcast.net for addresses.
